Kypsien mangojen maku herää eloon ripauksella kirpeää, kotitekoista sekoitustamme limestä, merisuolasta ja pasilla-chilistä. Makea, hieman hapan ja mausteinen, nämä latinalaiskatujen ruokainspiraation makutangot tanssivat rikkaassa tummassa suklaassamme.
I wasn't sure about chile on a chocolate bar, but the pasilla brings this smoky warmth that sneaks up after the mango sweetness. The tangy lime and sea salt blend is what keeps me coming back though, it cuts through the richness perfectly.
The lime and sea salt dusting hits right before the chile warmth kicks in, and somehow the mango still tastes fresh instead of candy-like. I ate half the bar standing at the counter and had to force myself to save the rest for later.
Bought this to satisfy a mango craving and the salty-spicy kick from the sea salt and pasilla chile caught me off guard in the best way. The lime dusting keeps it bright without overpowering the chocolate. Ate the whole bar in one sitting.
