The whole almonds are what make this bar — that kettle-cooked sugar and sea salt shell gives a real crunch against the creamy dark chocolate. Sweet and salty balance is spot on, I ate half the bar without meaning to.
The dark chocolate is smooth and rich, but that salty-sweet kettle crunch on the almonds is what keeps me reaching for another square. Balanced enough that I don't feel guilty eating a whole bar in one sitting.
The almonds have that perfect crunch from the kettle cooking, and the sea salt really cuts through the dark chocolate’s richness. I’ve already eaten two bars this week and the balance of sweet and salty is spot on.
