Was a little skeptical about plant-based bacon in chocolate, but the smoky bits actually taste like the real thing. The mini bars are the perfect size for a lunchbox treat, and the maple keeps it from being too sweet.
The maple syrup sweetness balances the smoky bacon flavor perfectly, and the plant-based texture doesn't taste like a compromise at all. I'm stocking up while the clearance lasts since the best-by date gives me plenty of time to enjoy them.
