I grabbed the mini size expecting just a hint of heat, but the cayenne actually lingers nicely behind the cinnamon. The dark chocolate is velvety enough to cool it down right when it starts to build.
The dark chocolate is velvety smooth, and the pasilla chile gives it a smoky warmth that I didn’t expect—definitely more complex than your average spicy bar. I’ve already eaten three this week, the cayenne buzz is addictive without being punishing.
The heat creeps up right after the chocolate melts, leaving that smoky pasilla warmth on your tongue. I've been grabbing one after dinner and it's the perfect little kick without going overboard.
